BLUE RESILIENCE is a combination of the four elite turf-type tall fescues included in our ‘Resilience 2’ blend, alongside Blue Gem Kentucky Bluegrass, a bluegrass cultivar selected for its exceptional overall quality and drought tolerance. This mix has the latest generations of tall fescue, with rhizomes that enhance self-repair, speeding establishment, improving traffic tolerance, increasing recovery from damage, dark color, and fine leaf texture that matches well with Kentucky bluegrass. The addition of Kentucky bluegrass in this mix allows for improved winter hardiness as Kentucky bluegrasses respond better to ice cover than tall fescues. This mixture has excellent drought tolerance and will perform nicely on a variety of soil conditions. This mix will diverse sun conditions from full sun to reasonably heavy shade. A fantastic option for folks who want a pristine lawn that is easy to maintain!
